How to zoom to specific area with coordinates number

May 13, 2015 at 2:44 PM
I'm currently struggling with following problem. I have point coordinates that are from 100 000 up to 1 500 000. I create polyline using vertexes with that coordinates. Problem is, when I open generated .dxf file in autocad, it does not zoom to created objects, so I have to search to find generated objects. Is it possible somehow instruct to what area should be zoom applied when it's open in autocad. For example, Or maybe I can define boundary box with upper left coordinate and width and height so that area is displayer when dxf document is opened?

You will have to play with the VPort properties. To access the active vport through the DxfDocument.Viewport property or directly through the list of vports. The only vport you have access is the *Active, the one that defines the initial view.

In any case you can always make a zoom extends in AutoCad right after you import the file.
