Multiple Pages on DXF Documents

Jan 4, 2014 at 7:04 PM

I would like to know if a .DXF file support multiple pages? I do not have much experience on this, but it seems it is. However, I could not find anything on the specification.

If yes, them is it possible to read/write multiple pages using netdxf library? What entities should I use?

Thank you,

If you are trying to find something similar as programs like CorelDraw or Illustrator handle multiple pages; no, the dxf file does not support multiples pages, keep in mind that it holds 3d information.

The only thing similar is what is called PaperSpace, you can find a lot more information about it in the AutoCad user's guide instead of the dxf documentation. Anything AutoCad does is suitable of being stored in a dxf file. In any case, this library does not read PaperSpace information, just the 3d entities.
